금융위원회가 금융회사의 핀테크(FIN-Tech·금융기술) 기업 출자 활성화 방안을 상반기 안에 확정·발표한다.
김용범 금융위 부위원장은 18일 오전 서울 중구 KEB하나은행 신축 본점에서 열린 이 은행 핀테크 랩 ‘1Q 애자일 랩(Agile Lab)’의 8기 출범식에서 축사를 통해 이렇게 밝혔다.
‘1Q 애자일 랩’은 하나은행의 핀테크 스타트업 멘토링 센터를 뜻한다.
김 부위원장은 “핀테크 투자, 데이터 공유 등 핀테크 전반에 걸친 200여건의 낡은 걸림돌을 제거할 것”이라며 “상반기 안에 금융회사의 핀테크 기업 출자 활성화 방안을 발표할 계획”이라고 말했다.
그는 KEB하나은행에 대해서는 “기존 금융권에만 안주하지 않고 사업 간 경계와 국가 간 경계를 뛰어넘어 새로운 금융서비스를 핀테크 기업과 함께 만들어 달라”고 당부했다.
