Aaron Judge and the Yankees suffered a crushing 9-8 loss to the White Sox at the “Field of Dreams” on Thursday, but his fiancee popped champagne.
Samantha Bracksieck celebrated her 28th birthday with her fellow Yankees wives and girlfriends while on the road with the team. Bracksieck and Co. sipped champagne on a bus that included balloons and presents for the birthday girl, who sported a blue Yankees cap.
In a video, obtained by Awesemo.com and posted by one of Bracksieck’s pals, she pops a bottle of champagne and laughs as it overflows.
It’s unclear where the crew was headed, or if Judge had anything special planned for his fiancee Friday — an off day for the Yankees before they continue the White Sox series back in Chicago. The Field of Dreams game was in Dyersville, Iowa.
Judge and Bracksieck are very private about their relationship, though, their engagement was reported in June when she was photographed wearing a diamond ring.
It’s unclear when the longtime couple began dating, but they’re believed to have been friends since high school.
