CLEVELAND, Ohio – A week later, what I’m hearing about the Browns’ 2022 college draft.
1. The first time the Browns had a chance to pick, they were looking at some receivers. They gave serious consideration to John Metchie III, the Alabama receiver who eventually was selected at No. 44. But the Browns didn’t want to grab a receiver coming off a ACL injury, which happened to Metchie in the SEC Championship game last Dec. 4.
