A Pittsburgh Steelers player has tested positive for COVID-19, the team announced Monday.According to the league’s transaction wire, the player is tight end Vance McDonald. He has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. McDonald missed practice Friday with an illness. He traveled to Dallas with the team and played in Sunday’s game. The player immediately was self-quarantined, and the organization continues to be in the NFL’s Intensive Protocol. We have been in contact with the NFL and medical advisors to complete the necessary contact tracing.
