The Buckeyes have an outstanding 2022 recruiting class going with 16 commitments. It is a class that is currently ranked No. 4 in the country in the 247Sports Composite team recruiting rankings.
But there is certainly more work to be done. In particular, the Buckeyes have just one defensive line commitment at this point and are looking to sign at least four and preferably five 2022 defensive linemen. Also, one or two more safeties and one or two more offensive linemen are being sought.
