Manu Militari, is a Quebec rapper, lyricist and songwriter. He pursues a solo career, after having been part of the group Rime Organisé, by publishing a first EP entitled Manu Drastic. It follows from a first studio album entitled Voix de fait in 2006
Manu militari is a Latin expression meaning “with military means”. It is used in legal language to indicate the use of force.
It is used by several authors such as César in De Bello Gallico as well as in everyday language, sometimes in the form ipso facto et manu militari which means “by the fact and with all the necessary means”.
