Some playlists are just collections of songs. Others feel like events. “Eminem, Lil Jon & 2Pac – Playliste – 2024 (REMIX)” belongs firmly in the second category — a full-length mashup playlist where producer D MIXX stitches together three of hip-hop’s most unmistakable voices into brand-new combinations.
Every remix on the playlist is produced by D MIXX (TNT Records Remix, @tntrecordsmixandbeats), blending verses and hooks from Eminem, Lil Jon, and 2Pac — with Dr. Dre dropping in on some cuts — over rebuilt instrumentals. The tracklist reads like a fantasy collaboration album: “On The Way,” “Black Hats,” “Hit Hard 2,” “Hurricane 2,” “Walk Forward,” and more, plus D MIXX’s own instrumentals to round it out.

The mashup concept
A great mashup is more than two songs playing at once — it’s a conversation between eras. D MIXX’s playlist puts the rapid-fire technical precision of Eminem next to Lil Jon’s arena-sized crunk energy and 2Pac’s raw, confessional intensity. On paper these are three different worlds; in the mix, they start finishing each other’s sentences.
Tracks like “Hurricane 2” and “Hit Hard 2” show the formula at its best: familiar verses re-contextualized over new drums and low end, so even songs you’ve heard a hundred times land with fresh impact. It’s fan-made, unofficial, and made with obvious love for the source material.
D MIXX’s production
Credit where it’s due: every remix here is produced by D MIXX, and the production is doing heavy lifting. The instrumentals — including D MIXX’s own original beats on the playlist — give these mashups a cohesive, modern low-end punch that ties decades of hip-hop together. The blends are clean, the transitions are confident, and the track sequencing plays like a proper DJ set rather than a random upload.
For a YouTube remix project, the consistency is the standout feature. This isn’t one viral mashup surrounded by filler — it’s a full playlist built to be played front to back.
Why these three voices work together
Eminem, Lil Jon, and 2Pac each defined their era: the lyrical technician, the club commander, the poet of the streets. What D MIXX understands is that all three share the same core fuel — urgency. Every verse on this playlist sounds like it had to be said, whether it’s delivered at double time, shouted over 808s, or poured out over a soul sample.
That’s why the mashups click. Strip away the production trends of their respective decades and you’re left with three artists who attacked the microphone like it owed them something.
The originals: 2Pac’s Greatest Hits
Mashups are a celebration of the originals — and if this playlist sends you back to the source, there’s no better starting point than 2Pac’s Greatest Hits. The 1998 Death Row/Interscope compilation gathers 25 tracks spanning his untouchable run, and it’s the foundation half of these blends are built on.
